Home sweet home.

We have a home, an address and space again..

Thursday we got the keys to our new humble abode.  3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage with a huge fenced in backyard.  So everything we wanted.. plus an awesome location.  We are less than 2 minutes from post.  What more could an active duty military family want?

Well actually I can think of one thing.. the rest of our furniture would be nice. :) A week from Tuesday we get the rest of our home goods.  After that I will post a video of the inside.. because everybody needs to see the great luck we found.
My first plant at this new house. :)
Piston in his amazing backyard.
Which may be me bragging just a bit.. hehe.

New to town.

Well. We've arrived. In Georgia that is.

There was tons of sleeping, book reading and passed cars. But hey those are just details. :)

There was also a quick stop outside of Fort Campbell to meet one of my favorite bloggers, Jenn at Life With the Lieutenant. She gave us a water bowl because someone **cough cough Rob** forgot Pistons water bowl. And some wonderful fudge and salty snacks. Girl can rock some fudge. Let me tell you! Hands down her recipe rocks (this is the recipe). Oh and double bonus.. something off of my summer to do list!

When we crossed into Tennessee we shared a laugh... Rob looked at me and said "We may be in Tennessee.. But you are the only ten I see." Mans been working on his pick up lines in Kuwait. LOL.

Other than that we are here... I'm an out of place person at the moment but other than being overwhelmed I like it here so far.  Especially since afternoon thunderstorms are the norm.

Hopefully my next post will include news of our new home! As of now we are still on the hunt but have an app in.. so keep us in your thoughts and prayers that we get approved and are out of the hotel, into a house by the end of the week!

Oh and.. check this out.. sneak peak of the homecoming pictures:

And it's all over.

What's over?

This deployment.

Rob is home safe and sound in our little empty (they have picked up most of our stuff.) one bedroom apartment as of Monday around ten.

Pictures to follow as soon as we have them back from the awesome photographer who came with us.

I hope all is well with all you loves.
 Until next time...

Always,
Amanda

P.s. does anyone know of good blogger iPad apps?
