Emily | Four Month

One of my friends from elementary school commented on one of my Facebook posts the other day and said "These last babies grow in hyper speed! Yours was just BORN!! What the heck!?!?"  To which I darn near wanted to cry because Lord y'all, it. is. the. truth.

Where have the last 4 months gone?

Emily at four months...

.You are weighing in at 17 pounds, 4 ounces.  Which is the 93rd percentile! You are 2 pounds, bigger than Grace at this stage and a pound bigger than Brooklyn.

.You are 24.5 inches tall.  Which is in the 47th percentile.

.You are wearing size 6 month clothing and size 3 diapers.

.You are the absolute sweetest little gem.  Always smiling, even when your sisters are melting down.  It is a very good reminder of how good I've got it.

.You are finally starting to pay some attention to Diesel when he is around you.

.You were officially diagnosed with a strawberry hemangioma on your back.  Just another birth mark to add to your others.  You have the handful of light red spots on your back, similar to your sisters.  And a red pinky fingernail sized one the top of your head.

.You are a champion eater.  Recently you want to nurse to sleep and just about all other hours of the day.  It is lovely.

.You still have your belly button hernia, but it has gone down considerably.

.You are still a little puker.  Going through 1 to 3 outfits a day.  The doctors are not concerned about it because clearly you are almost off the scale weight wise.

.You look so much like your biggest sister did at this age.  Which probably means you will ultimately look exactly like daddy.  This breaks mommy's heart.  I just wanted one of you to look like me!

.You love to sit up and will cry until someone sits you up.  The Fisher Price sit-me-up seat is the bees knees.

.You picked up yelling this month.  And love when someone does it back to you.

.You still don't really take a quality nap during the day (unless Mom can lay down with you) but you sleep through the night in 8 plus hour stretches.

Baby love - I have already found myself looking back at pictures from just 4 months ago and I am shocked at how quickly this has gone.  You will forever be my baby... but that doesn't mean I am okay with how fast this is going.  Thanks for always knowing when that perfect little smile will cheer mama up the most.  It means everything to me.
