Shine On with Shinesty

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love this dang country.  It doesn't matter who is residing in that big White House or who has control of congress, I will ALWAYS love the United States of America.  I married a soldier.  My kids have already been taught at 4 and 2 years old to stand with pride for the national anthem.  We proudly display a flag in front of our house, 24/7/365.  We are those people.

So what better way to celebrate this glorious country than with some red, white and blue clothing?

Enter Shinesty.  "The most outlandish collection of clothing the world has ever seen." And they really mean that.

For example.

For real, y'all.  That is a bald eagle on a pair of boxers.  Is there anything more American?

I don't wear boxers and getting my husband to tell me how he feels while wearing the aforementioned boxers is like pulling teeth.  So here I am to proclaim what I do know about these boxers.  They are insanely soft, super fun and made of a high quality material.

Don't worry though, I was sent something for myself as well.

This shirt.

I am by no means a style blogger.  But I took my camera and a tripod and tried. Also, please disregard the sort of baggy maternity jeans that I need to retire in favor of something with a physical wasteland.  Mom fail.

I love this shirt!  It is made of a super high quality, almost terry, material.  I can easily dress this shirt up or down.  On this day we went for a spin to meet the new preschool teachers for Grace this year.  I feel like it is a simple take on the red, white and blue and this glorious country.  Definitely my new go to shirt for America's birthday - and just about any other day too.  This shirt also receives bonus points because I am wearing a large, comfortably.  (Post baby I've been closer to an x-large or 2x, depending on the company.)

I know I've sparked your interest now.  So head on over to Shinesty and get your shopping on.

I was not paid for this review, but I was sent the boxers and shirt in return for an honest review.  All opinions expressed are my own.

May your Labor Day be safe and fun!
