I've never set foot in K...That's fantastic! I've never set foot in Kansas, but it sounds like a welcoming, people-centric place. And kudos to your family for getting you familiar with both city and country of your state (everyone should be so lucky). It looks pretty, in a solitude kind of way- I'm not used to seeing such flat landscape, but it's also very green.
